Play Sudoku on your dashboard
There are a couple of cool Sudoku games you can download to play in your dashboard screen on a Mac OS X computer. If you use a Mac at work (all 3 of us), it's a great way to play Sudoku on the down low. With a quick click of button, you'll be back on your spread sheet before the boss walks by (not that I would know ;-)
Sudoku fun's widget is a nice, no nonsense Sudoku puzzle. Not a lot of options, but I do like the paper look and solid puzzle design. It is great having a sudoku game always 1 click away no matter what you are working on with you computer.
Next up is Brian DeBoers's Sudoku widget. It is a good looking asymmetrical Sudoku puzzle. When you flip the Sudoku widget over, you have some helpful options. They include a timer, highscore keeper, three dificulty levels and auto-pencil marks. Overall, very well done. I have both widgets on my mac dashboard.
